Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in a tech or corporate environment
- Strong knowledge of procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems)
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
- Proven ability to analyze market trends and make data-driven decisions
- Familiarity with contract law and procurement regulations
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- High level of integrity and ethical standards
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost and quality
- Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to secure best value
- Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, from requisition to delivery
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance
- Collaborate with department heads to forecast procurement needs
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics to prevent shortages
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and trends
- Resolve any issues with orders, deliveries, or quality in a timely manner
- Prepare and present procurement reports to management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors
- Continuously improve procurement processes for efficiency and effectiveness
