Requirements
- Must possess a valid Good Conduct Certificate
- Must have a valid National ID or government-issued identification
- No formal certification required, but prior security experience is a plus
- Ability to remain alert and attentive during extended shifts
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, and patrol for long periods
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reporting and log-keeping
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
- Commitment to integrity, confidentiality, and professional conduct
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
- Control entry and exit points, verifying identification and visitor credentials
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies according to protocols
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations
- Report any suspicious behavior, safety hazards, or security breaches to supervisors
- Assist in enforcing company policies and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors
- Conduct routine inspections of security equipment and report malfunctions
- Collaborate with local authorities when necessary
- Participate in ongoing security training and drills
